During 2020 DIXIEPLY’s marketing efforts have changed a lot. Since the launch of our brand-new website, we have been working on building our online presence. Not only is being visible on the internet important but creating a platform on social media plays a vital role in today’s day and age. With the introduction to COVID-19, these thoughts are even more relevant. It seems that this pandemic flipped our worlds upside down and has created more challenges for everyone. Our specification reps are having a hard time meeting with customers face to face. In Florida, while trying to overcome these obstacles, we have started creating marketing videos for the A&D community.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Search Engine Optimization (SEO) was something that we always strive to improve on. With the new website, it has helped our visibility and we can now be found quicker. It is user friendly and this upgrade is something we are extremely proud of. Having a website that customers can easily navigate can make or break an opportunity for specifying a product.
Social Media Presence
Social media is an outlet that our Florida team has really leveraged. With freshly graduated students entering the A&D community, more and more social media presence will be necessary. The younger generation uses these outlets for inspiration and ideas. The more content we put out there on a consistent basis, the more visible we are to everyone. We are excited to see the traction we are getting through social media and have even gained new customers.
The latest and greatest marketing efforts have been through video marketing. Our specification reps in Orlando came up with the idea to create weekly videos on the plethora of products that DIXIEPLY distributes to send out to their customers since face to face meetings are not currently an option. It’s been an incredible tool that keeps DIXIEPLY on the radars of their architects and designers. Creating a YouTube channel was the ideal way to keep their videos organized and easily found. All in all, we are more than thrilled about all the improvements we have made when it comes to our marketing and we are still learning daily. We will continue with our efforts to grow our presence in more ways than just one. As the restrictions let up, this is something we plan to take with us to the future. We hope to see you all there.
