The best place to be in Florida is outside. Creating an outdoor oasis requires durable, waterproof decking for coastal environments. Lumberock is the premier decking for coastal areas where patios, decks, docks or marinas are in high demand. With the launch of their new Coastal Collection, builders and homeowners can choose from a variety of modern colors without sacrificing quality or longevity.

Designed to compliment the hues and aesthetics of the Florida lifestyle, Lumberock presents the Coastal Collection. Available in six fade and stain resistant finishes, the Coastal Collection offers a dual-sided wood grain board in square and grooved edges. Learn why Lumberock is the ideal choice for durable decking in residential, commercial and marine applications.

Designed for Coastal Environments

Lumberock is a waterproof decking designed without organic filler. Many composite decking brands use a blend of wood flakes and plastic, making them susceptible to water, mold and mildew. Lumberock uses mineral additives in the form of crushed rock and plastic to increase strength and render impervious to harsh coastal conditions. Manufacturing with a closed-molecular formula prevents water absorption from within. Lumberock is an eco-friendly decking option engineered using recycled materials and produced north of Chicago, Illinois.

Why Lumberock?

A unique feature of Lumberock is repairability. If scratches and scuffs occur during installation or general use, apply heat to the surface to reduce visibility. Check out a demonstration of scratch repair here. This waterproof decking can be fully submerged in saltwater, is considered to be slip-resistant due to its textured surface and is impervious to stains, spills, insects, mildew, mold and rot. An ideal product for marine docks and water-front decks, the boards are UV-resistant and will maintain a lower temperature than PVC decking products.

Low-Maintenance, Long-Lasting Decking

Traditional decking products require consistent care and maintenance, especially in high-salinity environments. Lumberock is a low-maintenance coastal decking. Simply sweep with a broom or power wash for a deep clean. Soap and water or standard household cleaners such as Simple Green®, X14® or CLR® for rust are safe for use.

Traditional Installation Methods

Special tools or hardware are unnecessary when fabricating Lumberock decking. To cut, shape or route, simply use traditional carpentry tools. Stainless steel fasteners or counter snap screws will properly secure the deck boards. To decrease installation time, Lumberock does not require pre-drilling as it will not mushroom around the screw head. Due to mineral additives used in the manufacturing process, Lumberock is less susceptible to expansion and contraction. However, slight expansion and contraction can occur on the butt ends of the boards. Best practices require a small gap between boards to avoid buckling.

To prevent voiding the limited lifetime warranty, do not install around fuel or docking areas as the product cannot come in contact with petroleum based products.

When selecting a decking built for durability, Lumberock is the ideal waterproof decking for coastal environments. Ready to purchase the Coastal Collection from Lumberock?
